All of our vehicles carry moving blankets, straps, shrink wrap and a hand trolley. Other equipment such as tool box (for disassembling and assembling furniture), platform trolleys etc can be organised at request. Please let us know at the time of booking if any other equipment is required.
Our movers are insured for public liability, but goods in transit are not automatically covered for damages. Although we take all care in moving your goods, but the unexpected can happen, so we highly recommend that a separate “goods in transit” insurance is organised prior to the move. Please talk to one of our representatives and we can refer you to insurance companies who can get your goods insured in no time. Our movers can certainly assist you with packaging of your goods. This can either be done just prior to the move or any other day as you prefer. You can either organise your own packaging material, or we can bring in the packaging material such as boxes, tapes etc, and you only pay for the material that you have used. Please talk to our representatives for the prices for our packaging service.
Experts recommend that if a fridge is turned off a few hours before and is not turned back on a few hours after the move, its perfectly safe for the fridge. But having said that, if you are not comfortable to move your fridge in a laying down position due to the height of the van, we prefer that you book an open tray (if only moving a few items), or a truck so that we can transport your fridge in an upright position. At the time of booking, we try and ascertain the size and quantity of goods to recommend the moving vehicle, so that we are not making multiple trips to move your goods. So, its important that you give us an accurate description of goods at the time of booking, otherwise we may have to make multiple trips on the day to move your goods which may cost you more eventually.

You can also estimate the total volume of your items by using our Volume Calculator. This will give you an indication on the total volume of your items and the vehicle in which it can fit in.

That is a good question. As you can imagine each move is unique and different from each other. It can depend on things like where the truck can park, what access is like at the property, whether any stairs are involved, whether the goods are ready to go when we arrive etc. That said, depending on those circumstances on a rough average a full load in a 4T Truck can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. But that is just a rough estimate and it will depend on the circumstances on the day. The 8T Truck average is generally between 4-6 hours and 10T Truck can range anywhere between 6-8 hours.

8T Truck's are always between 7-9am or between 1-3pm. If you are looking for a more specific time then we can narrow that down to a 1 hour window, between 7-8am or between 8-9am and our driver can give you a call when they are half an hour away.
4T Truck’s are a little more flexible. The start times range from between 7-9am, between 10am-12.30pm, between 1-3pm or between 3-5pm.

All of our movers are covered with public liability insurance. This means that if any damage were to happen to the walls or floors, it is automatically covered by insurance. In regards to the goods, if any damage is made through our own handling and negligence then we would get it fixed or replaced for you.

Payment can be paid either by cash or card at the end of the job with a 3% surcharge charged by the bank.
